A lot of the players said they’d love to take this green home with them, because in terms of top greens in the UK this is as good as any we play on, real quality. I said I'd love to come back if they make this an annual event and everyone here would love to give it another go, so to get the chance to play there again in October is simply fantastic.

Crown green bowls may be seen as an 'Old Man's game' but in Portugal there was a vibrant buzz about the place...due to the young players who were involved with the Portugal Bowls Masters.
