Testimonials
I am delighted to have retained the Oceanico Portugal Bowls Masters Trophy and would like to thank everybody associated with the tournament, from the host, Oceanico, to the organisers, the sponsors and everybody who contributed to this great event.
GARY ELLIS, Winner, Oceanico Bowls Masters Portugal 2010, for the second consecutive year.
Many thanks for all your help...What a magnificent complex. I shall certainly return one day whether for bowls or golf or both!
NOEL BURROWS, Qualifying Bowler, Oceanico Bowls Masters Portugal 2010
It was a great week which we thoroughly enjoyed and we look forward to being there again in 2011.
MEL EVANS, bowler, Oceanico Bowls Masters Portugal 2010
A lot of the players said they’d love to take this green home with them, because in terms of top greens in the UK this is as good as any we play on, real quality. I said I'd love to come back if they make this an annual event and everyone here would love to give it another go, so to get the chance to play there again in October is simply fantastic.
GLYNN COOKSON, winner of the inaugural Iberian Crown Green competition
It is very rare that bowlers are treated like VIPs but your competition did this from fantastic facilities and accommodation, to meeting some of the stars of world golf. Your generosity is appreciated by everyone.
GARY ELLIS , winner of Oceânico Bowls Masters Portugal 2009
THANK YOU most sincerely for the welcome... I thank you all for making this event such an outstanding success.
ANNE DUNWOODIE, Taylor Bowls Ltd, Gold Sponsor of the Oceanico Bowls Masters Portugal 2009
We had a fantastic time at both the bowls and golf (Portugal Masters) and were delighted to be involved in a small way.
NIGEL BOND, Tonic Underwriting, Gold Sponsor of the Oceanico Bowls Masters Portugal 2009
I think all of you concerned with the event should be commended for doing a great job; from my point of view it was a faultless piece of organisation.
JOHN GREENWOOD, Winner of the Algarve Crown Green Open and qualifying bowler for the Oceanico Bowls Masters Portugal 2009
Crown green bowls may be seen as an 'Old Man's game' but in Portugal there was a vibrant buzz about the place...due to the young players who were involved with the Portugal Bowls Masters. Without a doubt, Oceanico is helping the sport to tackle its current image, and long may the relationship between the company and the sport continue.
