Dublin Hurling Team (April 2011)

I've been to a number of other leading sports centres… but nothing matches the facilities we enjoyed at Amendoeira. It may seem the simplest requirement, but the quality of the full length Gaelic pitch is the key asset for any serious inter-county or club team travelling abroad on a warm-weather training camp. It is built for GAA teams with a surface as good as anything we'd find at home. The accommodation is outstanding and the fact it is that little bit removed from the central hubs of Albufeira and Vilamoura meant we could get our work done without any distractions. I'd strongly recommend it to any other manager who asked me about training facilities overseas.
